Digital mood board Initial ideas and planning

This is the digital mood board displaying the kinds of aspects we would like to have in our production. It will convey the theme of struggle for identity and the ways in which relationships deteriorate. The shots of the film 'Adulthood' is an example of how the identity is displayed therefore it can be said that we are trying to portray the codes and conventions of this production.

We considered many ideas such as Horror or comedy, but thought that they would look unrealistic and would be unsuccessful.

We finalised our idea and decided to do a drama film with elements of the thriller genre.
The story surrounds a teenage girl, having problems at school and at home the audience see the effects of her being a social outcast

Originally, the whole
film was going to be done in movement photography and would have aspects of film noir incorporated into it. After some research we thought that it would be a good idea to incorporate Neo-Noir instead.


After doing some market research, our results showed that one word film titles were most effective. Here are the different names we are considering for our film:
